Terms of Service
These terms govern the private-beta use of SÒL at joinsolapp.com.
1. The service
SÒL provides software for coordinating savings circles and recording member, contribution, payout, message, and dispute information. The service is currently a private beta and may change as we improve it.
2. No custody or money transmission
SÒL is not a bank, credit union, escrow service, payment processor, investment adviser, or money transmitter. SÒL does not receive, hold, safeguard, pool, send, or settle circle funds. Members exchange money directly through methods selected by their circle.
A status shown in SÒL is a record entered or confirmed by users; it is not independent verification that money moved. Organizers and members remain responsible for checking transfers outside SÒL.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter an agreement. Keep your account secure, provide accurate information, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
4. Circle responsibilities
- Organizers are responsible for circle rules, member decisions, schedules, and record accuracy.
- Members are responsible for reviewing circle rules and verifying payment and payout instructions.
- All users must obtain permission before uploading another person's information.
- Do not use SÒL for fraud, unlawful activity, harassment, or unauthorized financial services.
5. Uploaded proof
Upload only what is needed to document a contribution. Redact bank-account numbers, card numbers, government identifiers, passwords, and unrelated transaction details. You grant SÒL permission to store and display uploaded proof to authorized members of the relevant circle for service operation.
6. Disputes between circle participants
SÒL may provide recordkeeping and communication tools but is not a party to a circle's financial arrangements and does not guarantee contributions or payouts. Circle participants are responsible for resolving their agreements and disputes.
7. Availability and beta changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue beta features. We work to keep records available and accurate, but the service is provided on an “as available” basis without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation.
8. Suspension and termination
We may restrict accounts that threaten users, abuse the service, violate these terms, or create legal or security risk. You may stop using SÒL at any time and request account-data deletion through support.
9. Contact and legal review
A verified support contact will be published here before beta invitations begin. These beta terms should be reviewed with qualified counsel and updated with the operating entity, jurisdiction, and any required consumer disclosures before a paid or unrestricted public launch.
