Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Account information such as name, email address, phone number, profile photo, and authentication identifiers.
• Circle information such as membership, rules, schedules, contribution records, payout order, messages, and disputes.
• Optional payment-proof images or links and notes that users choose to provide.
• Technical information such as device, browser, approximate region, pages visited, diagnostics, and security events.
• When you opt in on iPhone, an Apple device token used to deliver push notifications. SÒL does not use that token for advertising or tracking.

2. How we use information

We use information to authenticate users, operate circles, show records to authorized participants, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, improve performance, provide support, and comply with legal obligations.

3. When information is shared

Circle records are shared with organizers and members as required by the feature being used. We also use service providers for hosting and analytics (Vercel), authentication (Clerk), database hosting (Neon), network delivery and security (Cloudflare), transactional email (Brevo), push delivery (Apple), and file storage when enabled (Vercel Blob). These providers process information to deliver their services.

We do not sell personal information.

4. Payment information

SÒL does not collect or store bank-account or payment-card credentials and does not process circle funds. Do not upload sensitive credentials in receipts, notes, messages, or profile fields.

5. Retention and deletion

We keep information while an account or circle is active and as reasonably needed for records, security, disputes, backups, and legal obligations. You can delete your account from Profile → Account. This removes your login, profile, messages, device tokens, and uploaded proof references; shared transaction records may remain in anonymized form so other circle participants retain an accurate ledger. You may also request access, correction, export, or deletion by contacting support. Some records may be retained when necessary to protect other circle participants or meet legal requirements.

6. Security

We use access controls, encrypted connections, managed infrastructure, and least-privilege application checks. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so users should minimize sensitive information and report suspected problems promptly.

7. Children

SÒL is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
